Documents you upload for a purchase (driver's license, proof of insurance, proof of income, lender letters)
Payment and delivery details, and the records of your purchase, delivery and any return

How we use it

To show inventory, prices, delivery options and your financing terms
To obtain consumer reports with your consent, decide on financing and make offers on your car
To complete and deliver your purchase, title and register the vehicle, and service returns and warranty claims
To send transactional messages, and marketing you can opt out of at any time
To meet legal obligations (ECOA, FCRA, the FTC Used Car Rule, state motor vehicle law) and prevent fraud

How we protect it

Sensitive financial information is encrypted at rest and only the last four digits of a Social Security number are ever displayed. Access is limited to staff who need it and every access is logged.

Sharing

We share information with lenders and credit bureaus when you apply for financing, with vendors that help us run the site, deliver cars and process payments, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can update your account, unsubscribe from marketing, and request access to or deletion of your information at privacy@cityauto.ai. California residents: see Do not sell or share my personal information.
